Despite being a 17C building with Tudor-style facade, the Red Lion is heavily modernised inside. A lively venue especially for sports TV although there is a slightly quieter dedicated dining space is at the rear. It sits close to the thriving al fresco dining and cafe-culture vibe of Chester's town hall square.
